Today's Home Learning is about Parenthesis. Read the information and have a go at answering all of the questions.
Parenthesis is when you add extra information to a sentence using commas, brackets or dashes. Let’s start with commas. Commas surround the extra information and the sentence MUST make sense when the extra information is removed like this: My best friend, called Emma, lives next door to me. My best friend lives next door to me. The sentence still makes sense without the extra information within the commas.
